Summer Dance Camp Details

In case the email didn’t make it to your inbox & you have signed up for camp — here’s what you need to know!

Hi Dancers!

We're so excited you are signed up for our Magnify Dance Camp beginning Monday, July 19th!
We are gearing up for a fun week of dance, worship, friendship, discipleship and creative expression. Some of our dance rotations this year include ballet, jazz, hip hop, modern, musical theater, tumbling and even break dancing! I hope your dancer is ready to have a fantastic week!

Each day we will have a different fun theme, so be sure to check your closet and show off your own style!!!

Monday: Feet are for dancing!— show off your silliest or favorite pair of socks!

Tuesday: Toe Tappin’ Tunes!— wear Disney costumes or
accessories from your favorite Disney movie. Please
make sure that your student can still dance in their
accessories.

Wednesday: Dance for Joy!—accessorize with bright NEON colors
—leos, tutus, hair pieces, shorts!

Thursday: The world is a stage!— Bring fun costumes or coordinate with your class for our student showcase!

During the week we will also have a small group time where students will have the opportunity to build friendships and grow in their faith and artistry. Our hope is that your student leaves this week with a closer relationship with the Lord, sweet friendships and a love of dance. We will end each day focusing our hearts on the Lord through collective worship.

On Thursday we will wrap up a great week with a fun student showcase. Students will be given the opportunity to share individual dance numbers they have prepared independently and perform group class numbers that they have learned throughout the week.

Encourage your student to start working on a routine if they would like to do a solo. We will have time built into the day for students to work with others on creating their own “masterpiece.” All pieces will be limited to 1 min and must be submitted to Mrs. Lauren. Parents are invited to celebrate the end of our dance camp student showcase on Thursday at 2:00pm.

3-5yr Olds
Our youngest 3-5 year olds can will play games every day, enjoy several dance rotations, worship time, bible study, arts and crafts, and free time on the indoor playground. Their week will include a fun Tea Party as well! *Please let us know if your child has any allergies.

Listed below are some details you will need for the week. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to email us!

See you on Monday!
Mrs. Lauren
